Kaspersky blocking Kiro IDE - unable to sign into my account

So I've tried disabling the modules of Kaspersky one-by-one to no avail. Only fully disabling Kaspersky solves this issue. I get this error:

where the URL is http://localhost:3128/oauth/callback?login_option=google&code=mycode


What's causing this? Only fully disabling Kaspersky solves this issue which obviously I don't want to, and I'm not going to do it either.

I've tried unwatching port 3128 to no avail. I've tried disabling the Kaspersky firewall to no avail. Tried disabling: file antivirus, web antivirus - to no avail.

I don't know what's up to be honest. All other LLMs work just fine, and IDEs. So far my workaround is running Kiro IDE on a VM but this isn't ideal

I just checked, and I have Defender running right now, and the link still doesn't work for me!

What I meant is that "mycode" is a long PKCE (I think?) related code. Or implicit grant, I think. I don't think it's PKCE. But I can't securely share that generated code, everybody gets one when they try to sign in.

1) Do you think upgrading to the latest version would realistically solve the issue (latest version of Kaspersky, so not Total Security)

2) in that case, would I not be able to use my license based on a 3rd party key any more?

Just the Kiro IDE app. Not sure what you're trying to ask. I'm only using Kaspersky as my AV and app firewall

I've noticed something: Kiro IDE isn't at all in the Application Control list. In any of the groups. But it is installed on the system

Why you laughing tho... TLS rule inspections and curl commands were totally in order. Maybe not the docker containers but I was inspecting whether any of them were using port 3128...
