Probably MBAE has more features, and SW is just a module integrated inside an application, anyway SW AE tech usually performs quite well (see MalWare Hub results in KFA2019)... apart from SW AE technology, Kaspersky also uses other AE technologies via Heur/generic signatures.

So having MBAE still worth it?!

I get you guys. BUT! And this is a big BUT. Kaspersky leaves so many files behind after uninstalling even when I use Revo Uninstaller. If I give it a test run I will probably do a backup first. They leave so many files behind as if they're expecting that you will use it again. (n)

That's totally fair! Unfortunately most programs in general are terrible when it comes to uninstalling. I don't know why this is the case, maybe it's hard or rather their just lazy, but it is annoying for sure. I have to say though out of all the security programs I tried, Emsisoft has to have by far the best uninstaller.

Eh. Already switched to Kaspersky lol :emoji_v:

Let us know what you think(y)

About the remnants kaspersky leaves aftes uninstalling, never had issue with the windows own uninstaller tbh

Yesterday i actually installed iobit uninstaller, and i must say that i removed every windows bloat i couldnt remove with powershell (cba) and it really does good work

@Nestor syshardener + kaspersky. Kaspersky alone is just offering alot more than other free avs even do, theyre just offering too much for free tbh. You dont need voodooshield, when kaspersky is already doing the work with system watcher

never touch kaspersky removal tool
I will 100% break your machine, specifically system restore
Too late LMAO. My computer went straight to INACCESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE.

No clue what Kaspersky is doing to break the boot process but I ended up having to restore a backup and setting everything up all over again... Fun.
