God, but it would be nice if they also made an effort to make the product lightweight as well as highly protective. Really light.

Remember that beta builds come with debugging, product traces and app verifiers enabled, so this slow down the system.
I know. I didn't mean the beta versions, but in general.
I've never found them heavy?
It was never easy for Kaspersky. And bloated with home products.
You are confusing kaspersky with malwarebytes. Kaspersky is the lightest i have tested.
It did get butchered in the latest real world protection test though - i hope it’s a one time thing:

Also, see the FPs K. got in that results, and compare with the others... even ESET got more FPs than K., and let's not talk about Avast, Norton, GDATA, McAfee, etc.
True but Kaspersky always also gets the least false positives compared to others, so that's not entirely a surprise. But one test doesn't determine anything on its own - i mainly got worried because this is supposed a 'real world' protection test...I would say this is very exaggerated

Please, don't exaggerate! It doesn't make sense. Especially not in this forum, where there are more experienced people. I have been using Kaspersky products since 2004. I know them quite well. I know for a fact that what the test results show is not true. I'm not interested in the test. I am interested in what I experience on my computer. Now I thought it was time to test Kaspersky again, and I bought Kaspersky standard. It looks very nice now. When it comes to security, I have no doubt that it is also top-notch.
Does f-secure use files from Avast? When I installed Kaspersky it asked me to delete the avast files first. In fact, there were avast files that could be deleted after the uninstallation of f-secure. Strange
I've tried other AV recently, but I've been using Kaspersky since 2004 and I haven't found a better or more handy one for me. For me, this product is the best. It's not perfect, but it's the best for me.Now I thought it was time to test Kaspersky again, and I bought Kaspersky standard. It looks very nice now.
