KD is one of my long-time steady eddies. It does MUCH more than CCleaner. It will also find & fix a number of computer glitches & software issues. KD has saved me from doing a re-install a couple of times. Of course, I always have KD create a restore file before I let it do any serious fixing. And -- oh yeah -- it does a great job at keeping my computer squeaky clean. Sigh -- I never connected with one of the freebies but what it has saved me on repair bills makes up for that by a long shot.
Get it free if you can. If not -- get it anyhow.
