Hello there,

This is my config for my laptop, mainly used for school, coding and browsing.
It's not a game laptop if you look at the specs, but that isn't needed for me at all. What counts is that it is super fast, has a great battery, and a screen that is large enough (17 inch for a laptop is a minimum for me). :)

Laptop model: HP Probook 470 with some modifications (like harddrive replacement to SSD)

Most interesting specifications:
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro x64
CPU: Intel Core i5 5200U
RAM: 8 GB
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 550 / ATI AMD Radeon R5 M225 (1GB)
Screen: 17.3 inch (1600x900)
Motherboard: Hewlett-Packard 2249
Harddrive: Samsung SSD 850 EVO 500 GB

As always, if there are any good suggestions to improve my setup, let me know below! ;)

Hello, kev126 and thanks for sharing your config!
It looks very good! I'd choose something different from Panda, but if you feel good with it and know how to use it then no objection.
I like your on-demand scanners and the fact that you keep a lot of backups. Best solution in case of an emergency.
The best thing about your config though is that you are using the least vulnerable software around which reduces the attack surface drastically. Well done!
I have nothing in particular to add. Just follow some basic safety habits and I foresee a malware-free future for you!
Have a nice day, my friend!

Thanks for the reply. I used Panda years ago, but after a serious fail and so lots of virusses from one infection, i ditched it. Now I normally use Norton 360, but when I bought my laptop, there was a one year license of Panda included, so i will use it until it expires and I might replace it with something else

For your backups have you had a look at Aomei Backupper or Macrium Reflect they both have a very good free version.
No, I will check them out if I have the time. Thanks for the reply and the suggestions!:)

I sometimes use it for some quick calculations or if it is handy to write something near an image or something. The first thing I found when I was searching something like this, was Epic Pen and it works good. But I will check out Pointofix and give it a try. Thanks for the suggestion!

Solid config. Nothing to add.
Nice choices in your updates, too. Keep them going! :p
Just make sure you have at least one clean full system image (created with AOMEI Backupper) to restore from in case all other solutions fail. ;)
Otherwise, you're all set! Thanks for sharing your config with us, @kev216!

Thanks for the kind words, my friend! :)

I have a system image, but it is already a few months old, so I am going to make a new one soon. Thanks for the suggestion and remembering me, because its something that I quickly forget to do, although it's so important! :)
