I don't know if Kaspersky is incompatible with Shasow Defender.
Just yesterday i installed KAV 2018 and i already had SD enabled.
I didn't have a single problem and KAV run very smooth.
Maybe there is a problem with KIS

it's working fine, except this little hiccup.

still the same thing, it says the same number amount, whatever, cba to reinstall it.

Sounds to me like you found a bug. Should be reported.

Also I have have SD installed, together with KIS. Never noticed a problem.

Since patch (b) is being worked on - Update - Patch “B” for KAVKISKTSKFA 2018 / KSeC 2.0 / KSC 1.0 should I uninstall 18.0.0.405 (a) ?

Patch B is still in beta, AFAIK. Depends what you want. If you want to be on the beta channel, go for B. If you want to be on the stable channel, go for A.

I would not recommend Patch B, still a bit unstable (and signatures are not updated so frequently) unless You want to test and know what You are doing...

The newest Kaspersky extension (firefox) for KIS 18.0.0.405 (a) is 5.1.93.0.
I had to re-install chrome. Is there a extension download link for chrome (5.1.93.0)?

last time i installed it when 2018 RC came out, it was significantly worse in performance than its previous version. Not sure how it is now.

I'm using KTS and there are no current extensions. Everything they did in the past is managed via KTS, AFAIK (ICBW). For that I'm content as Chrome is a huge memory addict.

Yeah, since patch b is nearly make it in release stage. I believe the next big move comes from bitdefender for 2018 series, really nice under the hood improvements for detection (bb and cloud), others are not releasing 2018 beta to see their next big move(trend micro is not discuss able here)

FYI Patch B fixed the enormous amount of trusted application entries bug, I just re-enabled it and it's empty now.
