Checking out Emsisoft again.
No slowdowns and I like the new Windows 11-like design. So far, so good. Are you still using it? If so, how is it going for you?

How is it going with Firewalla? I am thinking of going this route too. Any "gotchas"?- switched from Emsisoft back to F-Secure
+ added hardware firewall "Firewalla Blue Plus" to my home network

I just received it a day ago so I can't really tell much about it yet. It definitely was super easy to set up. I was basically done after 5 Minutes. You simply have to connect it to the electricity and plug the ethernet cable into your router and your Firewalla device. After that, you need to install the app which basically sets up your device without you needing to do anything. At first you will receive quite a few notifications of newly connected devices, Gaming activities, video activities etc. so it can be a bit annoying at first when you get push notifications every view minutes. Firewalla doesn't have any web-interface as far as I know, so you need to configure it with the app on your smartphone. In the end I can only recommend checking out their website and help-page. They are very detailed and answer pretty much every question I had.I was wondering about the Firewalla as well. How is the interface and network setup?
If you have faster speeds you should either consider their Purple or their Gold model. Both have higher speeds and a router integrated. So you can basically use those two as your standalone router as far as I know.I saw that the device only filters at 500Mbps... but I have more... will it bother?
And if you currently have a decent WiFi router you can just use it as an access point with the purple. If you have faster speeds you should either consider their Purple or their Gold model. Why chose Viper ?- using Vipre Advanced Security
I have a lifetime license and only good memories about it. It's using Bitdefender engine and actually has decent zero-day detection capabilities. Why chose Viper ?
Why chose Viper ?
GDATA 2 ( haha joke )Maybe because it has the Bitdefender engine and a good BB
But it takes a long time to disinfect, after that you never meet 2000 malwares per day

About 250 MB on my system according to Task Manager. No slowdowns and barely any CPU usage tho. Running really smooth and it's one of the most responsive products when detecting a threat. The files are immediately quarantined and a notification appears. Really satisfied so far.How is it on resources?
