Hello,

I installed KSC Free on my computer and i thought i test it. I visited eicar test file website and i have shocked: i can download all eicar test file beside kaspersky without any alert notification. I tried chrome, Edge, Firefox and result are same. I use default settings and browser extensions are installed.
Do you know where is the problem?

Which component is it? I can't recognise it.
This is "Private Browsing" module, which is not available in Free version, but that module has nothing to do with detecting EICAR...

If Your KSCF can't detect EICAR, just run Restore Settings... check also additional security products in Your system, Windows Notifications settings, etc...

Weird, is the modules working? Try updating the definitions and make sure you didn't accidentally whitelist the file/website.

Yes, everything is on and working. All settings are default, no whitelist item or exclusion added and datebase is up-to-date. A tried reset settings and reinstall. I did fresh install on another device and the result is same. Kaspersky AV block files from eicar website just KSC Free not (just if u try from other source).

So what? It is harmless.

Alerting to Eicar is quite simple. It is a meaningless excursion.
Yeah I'm know but that's not the point. This is an option to test your real time proteciton how works.
