Removed: Nano Adblocker from 2 browsers
Removed extension: F-Secure
Removed security software: F-Secure

Installed Security software: Kaspersky Cloud Free 2021
Edit: Installed Tinywall via Revo Uninstaller Pro.

Is the Kaspersky extension not compatible with Firefox?
I would prefer it over Bitdefender TrafficLight.

I'm not sure if WhitelistCloud Free adds something to your protection next to Kaspersky, maybe swap that with VoodooShield Free?
What do others, for example @danb or @harlan4096 think about that?

Compared with WD, KCF is light and smooth with your current config? are you using default settings or have you tweaked?

Probably will be tweaked if the expert himself (@harlan4096) wishes to help me with.

Essentially the lightest AV/Firewall package you're ever gonna get that has amazing detection. Can't say Webroot because the detection and prevention is useless and no one shoot be using it. xD

KCAV is between 30-90MB. Sometimes below 30MB.
Tinywall on the other hand is below 10MB ALL THE TIME.

it seems that the performance is similar to WD, there is no doubt that KCAV is probably one of the best alternatives to WD
When testing WD, the memory was so bloated at times it was 200MB, compared to less than 95MB for KCAV. Memory usage for me has a big part to play with anything like that tbh really.

This is not helpful for the 2021 version, can there can be an updated tweak post so I know which one's to tick off and so I don;t mess up the performance of Kaspersky.

~LDogg
Most options are still there, but at a different place in the 2021 version.

Go to settings by clicking the gear symbol (is correct English?)

Protection ==> File Anti-Virus ==> Advanced Settings
You can set the Scan Mode to On execution
I didn't change this on my system

General ==> Performance:
Postpone computer scan tasks (must be on)
San for weak operating system settings (must be off)
Release resources is not there anymore?
Search for rootkits setting is not there anymore?

Network settings
Limit traffic on metered connections (must be off) (I leave it on, because it doesn't cause slowdowns for me)
Inject script into web traffic (must be off)
The others are good at default, but I also untick the scanning of EV-certificates there

Interface
The display settings are not there anymore?
I unticked all available notification settings there except the ones under Show application's status in notifications area.
You can untick them as well to safe some resources.

At Privacy Protection (main screen) I ticked Block data collection

I hope this helps and enjoy Kaspersky Security Cloud Free!

EDIT: post edited after the Shift + F12 trick of @harlan4096 changed the interface from Dutch to English (y)

That 95 mb is the not the actual memory used by Kaspersky. Kaspersky also use around 200 mb or more in general. The value can increase or decrease based on the tasks it performs. Use something like Process Explorer/Process Hacker to check the actual memory usage but probably the best one with proper explanation is the built in "Resource Monitor". Kaspersky and Windows Defender's ram usage is quite similar on average and 200 mb by no means is a lot.
