@Slowpoke73: They have same concept at all, its matter of detection capabilities to determine the file itself as threat or block the payload to protect those critical files.

You may choose to download and install over the top or wait for the automatic upgrade to prompt you to apply the upgrade.

Known Issue:

• Improved internal log format to better distinguish between the various Anti-Ransomware beta versions
• Adjusted embedded license so that earlier beta versions could be expired and users would be encouraged to move off older versions and onto the latest available beta

Issues Fixed:
• Fixed issue that caused high-CPU and memory usage and resulted in a process crash in certain cases
• Fixed issue where the current state of the protection status was not remembered correctly after a reboot

I have an office 365 subscription, and it went to update this weekend and this product marked click-to-run service as ransomware. I did not even think to grab a screen shot of this when it happened. I had to unistall and re install office 365 to get it to work again. This was on a windows 10 home edition machine. I can try and get it to replicate the issue and post shots on here if you would like.

Yes - it has flagged ClickToRun on my machine also and I reported the FP with required details.
And then it flagged it again, even though it was now in the Exclusion list, and I reported again.
I see others have also had this issue. So they do know about it.
