We have just started rolling out this week's new version of your product, 4.5.14.210 component package 1.0.1767
As always, if you don't want to wait for the 'Update Available' notification, go right ahead and retrieve the update manually by clicking "Check for updates" in Settings > General.

What’s New:

• Improved updating functionality
• Performance improvements
• Detection and remediation improvements

Some Issues now addressed:

• Fixed: Links in Scan results no longer redirect to a higher level of detection names
• Fixed: After Update mbam.exe unable to launch: 'this app cannot run on this PC' mbam.exe -0- bytes. Under certain circumstances
• Fixed: FundEZ14 application and network drives not accessible
• Fixed: Windows 11 periodic mbamtray 'not responding' after coming out of sleep mode
• Some UI Issues now fixed:
  • UI will be closed if the user will not continue with the update process
  • RTP card\Security news feed display has a blank area in Dark Mode
  • Trial expired notification showing repeatedly

• Security Advisor notifications - Customizable notification that helps you stay secure by informing you when Security Advisor finds an issue that requires your attention. Notifications are enabled by default and can be disabled or re-enabled from the Notification tab in the Settings menu.
• Tray icon - Primary click on the tray icon now launches the UI or brings it into focus. Previously a primary click opened the tray menu which was redundant since a secondary click does the same operation.
• Uninstalls - Added guidance and updated our KB article for users who are looking to use Malwarebytes in conjunction with other security products.

Issues fixed

• Product or OS functionality can be broken by blocking MS-signed not protected files (limited circumstances)
• Incorrect dashboard notifications showing for Premium users
• The security news feed is not changing
• Buy now options shown in Security Advisor for Premium users

Features and improvements​

• Smart Scan - We just changed the game for scheduled scans with Smart Scan! The Smart Scan option now allows a scheduled scan to start only if the computer is in an idle state. Limiting scheduled scans to start only during idle time will provide a significant performance improvement as the default nightly scheduled scan (that is typically skipped because the device is usually powered off at night) will no longer kickoff when the computer is first started and hog resources that are needed for the task at hand. Smart Scan is on by default for all new scheduled scans.
• Scan reminder for new downloads - Our Free product is now even more amazing with new logic that reminds you to scan when we find new files in the download folder. While this isn’t a substitute for Real-Time Protection, it helps build better security habits.
• Security Advisor:
  • Check startup apps - Assists you in optimizing your computer performance by helping to find apps that have a high impact on Windows startup.
  • Notify for new issues - Updated the display logic so that these notifications no longer auto-dismiss.
• New background - Malwarebytes has a fresh new look thank to the newly added Clean Sky background. Now users can choose between three great backgrounds to personalize Malwarebytes.
• Improved error handling for update issues
• Minor performance improvements
• Added translations for new UI flows
