Comodo focuses more on prevention than detection, whilst keeping a balance on Detection.
Version 6 has some improvements on some modules such as scan speed, incorporation of Killswitch and Autorun Analyzer, as well new features.
If you briefly look at my config at this post, you will have some recommendations.
On a side note, despite I never included Comodo for gamer only system, I am using CIS 5.10 but then again EVE Online (mainly this one) does not require any tweaking to be fully operational.

Mark69 said:I do use a browser to check e-mails (always the Firefox one). I have two accounts, a Gmail one and an Hotmail one.
For both I tried to achieve the highest security settings available, for the Hotmail one, for example, I have the https connection all the time.

Ahh, okay that was going to be my next question. If you had a secure connection while emailing. Plus Gmail uses a secure connection, which is good.
Try something like HitmanPro.Alert to encrypt your keypresses.I use to connect to my online banking account to check my account and sometimes to make some money transfers through the site of my bank (small amounts)...and sometimes I use to purchase something through Internet with my Credit Card...
You can use a VPN to protect yourself from tracking, take a look at F-Secure Freedome VPN or Windscribe VPN.(ehm....sometimes I also download some movie through Torrent...)...do you think my setup is ok to provide me with a solid protection?
I agree with the cheesy GIF messages, but as for the frequency, I only receive emails once a month to tell me that my bandwidth has reset. Could it be your email settings? If you sign up for Windscribe VPN, expect a lot of irritating Emails with cheesy GIF messages. You cannot unsubscribe to this mail list, unless you request your account to be deleted. Another option is to use an email address you don't use often for Windscribe VPN.
