I've been battling Max Adblock since the 26th, it was removed yesterday and came back today (no illegal downloads nor were any websites containing pornography entered), it doesn't show up as an extension. I've tried Revo Uninstaller which was unsuccessful, Malwarebytes cleaned some other malware I unknowingly had but didn't fix Max Adblock. I saw a thread on here where TwinHeadedEagle had a person use Zoek, I followed those instructions, re-installed Chrome and still my problem persists.

- Right-click on icon and select
Run as Administrator to start the tool.
(XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File). - Press the Fix button just once and wait.
- If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
- When finished FRST will generate a log on the Desktop, called Fixlog.txt.

I'm still having problems with the occasional popup and max adblock generating fake websites during searches.
Only Chrome, I checked IE and nothing with Max Adblock shows up, even downloaded Firefox to check it out and nothing. I even re-downloaded chrome just to make sure and it still occurs.
Please download JRT by Thisisu and save the file to your desktop.
Temporary disable your AntiVirus and AntiSpyware protection - instructions here.
- Right-click on icon and select
Run as Administrator to start the tool.
- Follow the prompts and let this process run uninterrupted.
- This scan can take a while, depending on your System specs.
- Upon completion, a log (JRT.txt) will open on your desktop.
Please include the contents of that file in your reply.
Do not forget to re-enable your previously switched off protection software!
Please also manually reboot your machine after this procedure.
