I didn't see McAfee in the AV-Comparatives report that it was reviewed for Android. I wonder how good the Android version is and if it's good enough on its own?

I think there's elements of Mcafee baked into Samsung phones too

extremely expensive, I do not pay more than nothing for any software, including security solutions.
BRO ! XD give a thank to the donators than, because it's free for you from there open heart ^^, and never work on a manufacture because you don't seem's to understand that every trust is a kind of transaction in this world, your words isn't enough to bring prosperity and calm to this realm, pay your taxes my friend for continue to have your own peace.

Just giving it a try, looks good and very simple, my only gripe is the GUI is truly massive on my monitor 3840 x 2160 so I have to back my chair away to see the interface & use the McAfee GUI to light the room up :p I don't usually have scaling issues these days - Anyone else had this

The same applies to Trellix endpoint security settings; one of the most convoluted settings I have ever seen.

Samsung has the built-in scanner indeed, but the android app version of course can block malicious pages on various browsers. I just find it weird on pixels and on my mothers samsung there is no way to set up icon indicator to see that McAfee is running/ turned on. Of course you get the web protection, real time antivirus, virus removal, vpn and dark web monitor of your personal details with the cheapish license + some advanced techonology like scam protection to block malicious sms messages and probably blocking messages works on whatsapp etc. too. ( cant remember what android version had more, as i moved to sophos and mcafee got the new scam protection and i never tried it out)

Can it not be shrunk/scaled manually at all?

I can't find a way, its not the end of the world as you only see it when the UI is open - I just wondered if there was a solution?
I know this happened with Kaspersky whe they released their new GUI. Was fixed in a later release - as in - you could manually scale/shrink/expand to whatever you wanted and it remembered.

I think when I tried F-Secure that was the same. Fixed height and width, almost too big and in your face!

Could be worth flagging it with Mcafee? Not sure how they deal with suggestions/bugs

They have a live chat you can report issues to very responsive.

The second time I installed McAfee Ultimate, it didn't even open the GUI, no matter what I did. I restarted the system several times and still nothing, just the icon in the tray, a crazy bug. But I confess that I liked McAfee's lightness and simplicity.

It's possible the install got corrupted did you try and use the McAfee consumer removal tool and try the install again?

Talked to Chat who were helpful but said nothing can be done, they did say they will take the info on board & I sent a screenshot, I could rescale but that messes everything else up. Maybe eventually they will allow the GUI to be resized. A darker mode would be an idea too? Early days I suppose :)

Wonder what determines how large it should be. Resolution maybe? Windows scaling?

Very nice clear read reports on web page statuses that even a dummy can understand. Web protection seems to be strict like Malwarebytes browser guard. I love this new version of McAfee i do get it from a very good friend!
