Advice Request Microphone Problems

So I have tried nearly everything I can think of to get my microphone to work and so far nothing is working, I have even restarted the Windows Audio service to no avail, I'll attach a screenshot and see what you guys can help me with, very urgent as I need this for University.

It looks like some settings were done by a privacy app like O&O ShutUp 10.

Go to Settings -> Privacy and on the left side of the window, scroll down till you see microphone in the "App permissions" section and select it. Then ensure that "Allow apps to access your microphone" is switched to On.

I had issues recently with the microphone when I tried to use it for the first time and this fixed it.
