Since when did Edge become so fast? It performs much better than Brave

So, is it superior to Brave? I'm having trouble deciding between the two browsers right now.

In Microsoft Edge versions 92 through 145, setting the policy to Disabled configured media autoplay to “Limit.” In versions 146 and 147, setting the policy to Disabled configured media autoplay to “Block.” In version 148 and later, when the policy is set to Disabled, Edge once again sets media autoplay to “Limit.” The “Limit” setting restricts autoplay to sites with high media engagement and active WebRTC streams.

I deleted Brave and now use Edge, it seems to be at least 2x faster.

Edge only keeps getting worse with each new update. The surrepticiously changing settings hasn't either.

Collections and sidebar are now gone. Good riddance!

This all makes me wonder if MS can't maintain and keep in good working order something as simple as a web browser then how good are they really doing with Windows Security and the Windows OS itself?

It can take a while to remove old files, but 2GB is a bit overzealous.

Most chromium ones will occupy nearly the same size on disk; try to delete all browsing data (cache) and you will reclaim approx 1 GB if not set to be cleared on exit.
