@SHvFl cool, so it is a confirmed bug, guess the insiders missed it, maybe they just run Windows as admin LOL
Why I always have problems with updates! Windows downloaded the 1809 update 3 days ago and tried to install and it always failed. I experienced the same like 6 months ago when i updated to 1803. This is my last Windows PC,moving to Mac next year!
I had the exact same problem, it was so annoying that I switched to admin account. I reported it on the feedback hub.If anyone use SUA, i want you to set a PIN in both accounts., put UAC at max settings and trigger a prompt from it.
You should normally see the "more choice" option in the prompt.
Do it several times successively, the bug is that the "more choice" sometimes does not show up. If you can replicate, post a screenshot here.
Thx for your cooperation.

I reported it under security > user account. If you or someone else reported it on the feedback hub, tell us how to find it, so we can vote it up.
Link works. I just upvoted it.
Not an insider so it tells me i don't have access to that feedback. I assume it must be because 1809 was pulled so it's now an insider build.
I use Wub to block updates on Home edition.Delay Windows 10 updates via the Settings GUI if you have Pro. Otherwise, disable the Windows update service and wait until it is all sorted out.

probably because i was an insider before so my account is still considered as such...who knows...Not an insider so it tells me i don't have access to that feedback. I assume it must be because 1809 was pulled so it's now an insider build.
