They tested Windows 11 on newer hardware than Windows 10...
I tested myself on the same "hardware" in a VM and Windows 11 (fresh install) is definitely slower than Windows 10 (old install, upgraded from Windows 7).

So, if you would install Windows 10 on new hardware, it would be much faster, I presume?

W 11 has more features and aesthetically better than W 10? YES.
W 11 is faster than W 10? NO
Same here. I don't think Windows 11 and Windows 10 are equal regarding speed on same PC configurations. They just label Windows 11 as faster because it "supports" only newer hardware.

Windows 11 is totally bad.

You are absolutely correct.

Totally agree.

I've heard that within few years , Windows 12 will be introduced by Microsoft. Another biggest change with lots of problems.
Whenever Microsoft releases new version of Windows, it needs a few years before it becomes fully functional. I'm on Windows 11 now and I don't have any issues with it. But it was full of bugs when launched, just like Windows 10.

What I find more troublesome is Microsoft adding "features" and not mentioning it to anyone before release so people get surprised after installation. Perfect example was telemetry, ads, sponsored apps and such.

Hope so 🙏

I'm planning to install Windows 11 on Virtualbox or VMware.
I have W11 in VirtualBox, but there is a nasty bug at the moment.
Whenever I right-click on a program shortcut, Explorer freezes.
Does anyone here know how to solve that?

If this is unsolvable, the whole VM goes to /dev/null.
This installation was a test of the use of an autounattend.xml file, made with the help of this wonderful generator.

Microsoft claims that Win11 is 2.3 times faster than Win10: the testing method is shameless!
In testing, Windows 10 used devices equipped with processors such as i7-8750H and i5-6200U, while Windows 11 used devices equipped with i7-1355U and Core Ultra 5 125H.
Through the comparative testing of the above computers, Microsoft has concluded that "Windows 11 computers are 2.3 times faster than Windows 10 computers".
This is completely different hardware, and there is still such a big gap. What is the significance of the numbers obtained? The most important thing is that Microsoft still overestimated Microsoft by putting it in an official article to persuade users to upgrade to Windows 11.
