You should keep VirusScope and HIPS on, does the free version of Avast have HIPS?

Yes.Avast! Free have HIPS in fileshield.I am now using KIS2016.

back to Avast! or Avira free.Avira has great Signatures and Clouds and avast has Some zero-day components and signature.

Removed Avast! because they take too much time to add Threats.I submit a Torjan on 10th Feb and till now it not blocked the threats.
Add KIS2016.

I often worry about the compatibility of different security products.
As far as I know, ESET also has a "Exploit Blocker". You can find it in the HIPS settings.
In such case, would ESET still be compatible with an anti-exploit product?

Yes! no problem here in my pc.But i using only free version.If Eset missed something MBAE blocks it.

ADD:Avira Free Antivirus 2016 for temporary because of immature with continually mediocre protection performance and protection features of Avast! that you just can't rely on because their reliability is best described as "random".

I have to change my AV from Avast! to Kaspersky for zero-day threats and continually high protection performance and protection features.

So are you going back to Avast if KIS isn't working for you? Btw, Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit is for protection and can't scan.
