You should check Winja. It's way better then VT Uploader. To be honest, if you don't go on shady sites or download cracks or any illegal software you should be ok

For OS Updates just use a manual updater, that way you can choose what you want to update and what not.
Not entirely sure using Immunet is the best way, since ClamAV for windows... well its questionable.
Could be fine with AVAST or other free solutions but your call.
PS: one small suggestion: be respectful to users and staff, or you will simply be ignored by everyone eventually.

I used to use Avast, but sometime ago they managed to do something that causes my CPU to go to 100% very often. The current version of Immunet works very well and I suggest you give it a try.
I know what I'm doing and I'll keep using these programs because they work.

These are just suggestions by members.However every suggestion made you have a problem with.
Do not trust and have had enough of Windows but you still use Windows.
You say Widows updates mess up your machine yet by not updating the OS you leave your machine vulnerable.
