Update:
Using opera with ublock + bitwarden password manager, duckduckgo as search engine and k9 web protection takes care of rest.

I dont think i can get any far away from google or have any lighter build

K9 is easier, this method doesn't even work for me......

~LDogg
You can just use ublock and add lists and they even get updated automatically so i dont get the idea using them with comodo, am i missing something?

K9 filter is that agressive i have to make custom rules for few sites im using and thats why i like it. IT seems doing its things.

Also with norton dns, nanoblocker, malwarebytes browser addon and windows defender browser protection as backup its pretty effective without slowing down internet or having high memory usage using chrome

I just find whenever I try to block something with Comodo, it doesn't do a very good job. Even after going all the way through the correct steps. So I just haven't bothered and won't bother again.

Layers I have at first are Comodo Container (Sandbox) for FF Quantum, then Scriptsafe, NoScript, Norton Safe Web & uBlock Origin with squidblack list. Then the native system of VoodooShield, WD, CFW & OSArmor.

I tried nanoblocker with default filters comparing memory usage to my 600k filters lists ( squid, ransomwaretracker, hostsfiles) and the difference between memory usage is like 20mb so better be safe than sorry imo

Sometimes it's better to have things like OSArmor is combination with VoodooShield, because all these Threat Filter lists & AVs are only filters. Where as VoodooShield is a proactive whitelist snapshot computer lock, which whitelists any software you have already. I also use UnChecky to filter out any PUPs. PUPs are a nightmare as I had to clean my girlfriends laptop today with 17 threats removed ranging from browser hijacks, scareware, adware and PUPs. xD

As Voodooshield doesn't have any signature database or heuristic downloads or database to get it's ideal. Doesn't take up much CPU, as nothing is 100% secure.

@LDogg installed voodooshield, seems working so far but computer reboot was very slow

+ Added voodooshield
+ Google chrome as main browser, google as default search (best results)
- removed opera
- removed edge extensions from computer

- Removed windows defender browser protection ( even its light )

Having weird game client disconnects few times a hour , thinking either osarmor or voodooshield causing those, bit annoying, dont think k9 have anything to do with it

Thinking about going to get rid of cis, go with cs cf and some lightweight av like avast/ kaspersky to have protection against newer threats (bb? )

- removed k9 web protection ( caused disconnections while gaming )
- removed comodo internet security
- removed nanoblocker, nano defender

+ added sophos free ( great web filter ( parentin control)
+ added ublock origin ( default filters + squid)

So far it seems to be pretty heavy, using 200mb looking does its settle down

- I have removed sophos free ( nothing special, than high memory usage)
- removed ublock origin

+ added fortinet: forticlient 6.0 , no more high ping, best web filter , very lightweight
+ added adguard to chrome, sites loading much faster than with ublock, since i have fortinet now

After removing sophos free and adding fortinet i have today found Chrome missing elf.dll

My browser extensions are crashing and the browser itself does too

Malwarebytes found nothing
forticlient found nothing
hitmanpro found nothing
adwcleaner found : 1 pup

Weird how i even got that :^)

Also i have using edge as backup now and somehow its very lightweight, because i removed all edge addons huh

- removed forticlient ( causing too much issues) mainly network problems
- removed osarmor
- removed voodooshield ( can aswell run virustotal on exe. )

Did clean windows install

+ added avast free ( hardened mode)
+ vivaldi 32 bit( only adguard, bitwarden)
+ neustar DNS; family protection

adwcleaner found these after clean install:

***** [ Registry ] *****

Deleted HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\FirewallRules|WMI-ASYNC-In-TCP
Deleted HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\FirewallRules|WMI-ASYNC-In-TCP-NoScope

It has greatly improved in new v1.3, you shouldn't have had high memory usage however  It usually needs to run for a few days to settle down while learning your programms, then it's unnoticable.

Yeah, i had pretty much 200-250 mb all the time, well i only ran it for half day tho. I liked the web filtering, aswell the web dashboard. I could give it a try later, and run it for week or so to see is it lightier

So far avast is using 40mb and comodo was around 20-30mb, im just trying to get most light configure i can.

Whats the expected memory usage after sophos settles down or do you have to disable something to gain advantage

Could merely use Norton Web Safe for website on Firefox (if you have it). Very light extension. Or Forticlients web capabilities.

Dont know if firefox have different like addon, but in chrome it just adjust safe search , does that mean they only show links without possible infection? Forticlient is nice, but slowing my network. Neustar is blocking more sites than norton , so im fine with it for now
