In my opinion, windows defender is improved alot than before...
We can all agree on this: Effective feature you like most in each software 
On Windows 10, thanks to AMSI,(Antimalware Scan Interface) all AVs could improve.
It's definitely Windows Defender.
M$ still needs to decrease excessive RAM\CPU usage and improve removal.

I must agree with those saying windows defender. It converted from useless to a good baseline protection.

Could have put some other options on the poll and left out SAS,SpyBot and probably MBAM since it is technically not an AV
I voted Windows since they have made huge strides with Defender and their security in general
Emsisoft has also come quite a long way
Many of the top vendors have made huge improvements in their software

Avg and Windows defender improved a lot in terms of protection and detection
and maybe Panda too,
