Well FF, Edge and Brave antifinger tracking look for well known fingerprint libraries and I when FF does not break NY Times it probably is mild protection. You could add JShelter to firefox and enable the same protections as with Privacy Inspector when JShelter block something, than FF anti-fingerprinting does what I think it does.

When the team from JShelter says Brave anti-fingerprinting is the text book and they try to mimic it, So I would say Brave strict -> JShelter -> Privacy Inspector -> Brave anti fingerprinting + FF tuned -> Firefox default anti fingerprinting -> Edge anti fingerprinting (included in their anti-tracking). Brave dropped strict because when Always ON caused to much website breakage.

But anti-fingerprinting is over rated. I am using Brave on Linux while most Linux users use FF, same for you when you use FF (with its low market share) on Windows you are also standing out. No anti-fingerprinting can compensate for the anonymity of the herd.

A wish: the Privacy Inspector always opens in a small window. No problem, but it doesn't show all the scriptlet references. Please make it scrollable. Otherwise I have to open a large window to see everything.

Custom DNR rules creator morphed into DDG Tracker radar

Like Privacy Inspector I want to make it ease for users, so when you start DDG Tracker radar, it only shows trackers (with prevelance of 0.01% and higher) whih are known by the Duck Duck Tracker data base, no more researching whether a domain is a tracker. You should still make informed decisions on whether you should block them (using search or AI). :-) that is the reason I did not add a block all.

I also limited the resources used for tracking (e.g 1x1 image, script, xmlhttprequest/fetch, etc)

Use it the same as Privacy Inspector, only on websites you visit often, but not login to. The workflow stayed the same.

As a good copy-cat should do, I mentioned Duck Duck Go to credit them for their work :-)

When you fancy 150 rainy days a year, then the country of Beer, Bitterballs and Brothels is the place to be, but be ware:
In the US you don´t go to a drug store to buy drugs, In the Netherlands you don´t go to a coffee shop to buy coffee, we are a weird lot.
