Haha right, your mother-in-law seems a bit basic. My mom just has to bookmark everything. She can turn on the PC, use internet explorer by bookmarks. And then shut it down. My mom knows how to log in and stuff just don't know how to use a web browser. other then using the bookmarks. She doesn't know how to get MSN up, I have to open it for her. Only programs she uses are MSN & Internet Explorer. She is VERY basic.

We all were there at first, I thought the monitor was the computer when I first started lol

You had a beast! This was my first.
Franklin Ace 1000 computer

64K(!) RAM, no HD. :P

Wow, I feel very young. Our first family computer had XP on it. It had 512MB RAM & some slow processor. I don't know the hard drive space. Note back then I didn't now much about the parts of a computer. My first laptop had Vista on it. I opened it up out of the box and turned it on. I got a blue screen when it started up.

Gotta love Vista! :lolz:

:lolz: I have seen the video of the buddy installing Vista. I found it quite hilarious. However I didn't see the second link. Will give it a watch :)
