Hello everyone, I am new here, recently I decided to create a site (I got interested in site designing and developing). All is quite good, I have some difficulties sometimes, but I try hard to understand. So I created a small site (small for now, then I will see if develop it more or add some other stuff), but I have an issue and I want to hear other people's opinions: what do you do to protect your site?
Is it worth to protecting it while I am still at the beginning? How much do you pay every month? Please help me a bit, I will be happy to hear some suggestions

A normal well known host, has both the tools and tips/hints for that unless you host the site yourself. Still, I always recommend using a host as it's a much less hassle and can save one from very unnecessary headaches.

A good host and I would also recommend a ssl cert, it will protect you and you won't need to worry about it like you're doing now. Google a bit about it, inform yourself and then decide. I always recommend it to people who try to do their own site (a lot are business sites) and in my opinion business sites are always more exposed to hackers. Pay attention to this, wish you good luck with your site ;)
