Good news! We’ve just rolled out version 12.3.3.8152 of Comodo Internet Security 2025, which resolves the recent certificate issue. You can now download this updated version directly and enjoy the latest features and full functionality:

CIS Premium 2025: https://download.comodo.com/cis/download/installs/9060/standalone/cispremium_installer.exe

Installed the latest version of Comodo Firewall on Windows 11 23H2 with no issues. The upgrade needed two restarts to finish the installation. I successfully restored the old configuration from the settings. Diagnostics show everything is fine. If you don't have Comodo Antivirus installed, remember to select the custom install option during the upgrade.

I just got the auto-update for Comodo version 12.3.4.8162. The installation went smoothly and my settings remained intact. KillSwitch, Virtual Desktop, diagnostics, everything is working fine.
smooth here too but I downloaded (or had to download) a fresh install to get 12.3.4.8162... (coming from 12.3.3.8140).

"we" will always get you, just like that....Have to be careful with "we", and "you people". Especially now days.
What do you mean by "you people"?

La última versión de Comodo bloquea la conexión a Internet cuando se ejecuta en modo virtual a través de su sandbox.
If a program is virtual level as Restricted as set it the CruelSister configuration, you need to run what your containing as Partially Limited to allow for internet connection so you'll need to create a separate containment rule for that.

Thank you very much for taking the time to guide me (I don't know if I am expressing myself correctly, English is not my native language). Happy Holidays.

The latest version of Comodo blocks the Internet connection when running in virtual mode through its sandbox.
I tested this, and it's a bug in the latest Comodo version. I tried Edge and Dragon in Comodo containment, and they couldn't access websites, which was not the case with the previous Comodo version.

Comodo, at any containment or restriction level, doesn't block network connections. In Comodo threads, I've brought this up several times, including conversations with you, and there's a separate thread covering it.

Thanks. I've been that busy I didn't have time to try and replicate the issue at my end. It does appear to be a bug though in previous versions, you did have to set Containment Level for the browser connecting out. I haven't checked whether the issue is the same with the Comodo Dragon browser but I would presume so. Must be something to do with the containment level fix. It's a shame secure shopping isn't being further developed.

I personally don't run my browser in sandbox as incognito would remove any files and Comodo will contain any unknown or malicious file therefore blocking it from accessing browser or any other machine data or if gathered in the CruelSister Comodo Firewall vs New Data Stealer video, that information is blocked from being sent out.

I'm guessing the only current option is to maybe try Sandboxie for your browser though I've not tested for any conflict with CIS/CFW.

Hi everyone, in the latest version of Comodo 12.3.4.8162, with the setting, “Proactive Protection” by default, browsers cannot connect to the internet (Edge, Comodo Browser, etc). In the “Internet Security” or “Firewall Security” settings they do, even if you set the different virtualization options to “Restricted” mode. I would be very grateful if someone from the forum with more knowledge than this humble mortal could test this and help with the issue.
