I had a dream last night after installing Norton...
On my way to work on the train all my fellow passengers got pinged with a recurrent billing invoice from Gen Digital. All my co-workers were also having their bank accounts drained as I walked passed them. I even got a panicked phone call from Peter Norton saying that his retirement village (McAfee Serenity Ponds) were kicking him out due to lack of funds in his rapidly draining bank account.

I have a debit card with my bank that allows me to create a virtual one time use credit card for making a purchase. I use this all the time for software subscriptions and trials that I don't want to be auto renewed, and also one off online purchases so I don't have to worry about my credit or debit card being compromised.
For the likes of Netflix, Amazon and ongoing utility bills I use my main credit/debit card.
