Starting 14th September 2022, Norton Crypto will be disabled.

Why is Norton Crypto
mining being disabled?

With Ethereum 2.0, Ethereum has announced(link is external) that it will transition from a Proof-of-Work consensus mechanism to Proof-of-Stake. As a result, Norton Crypto mining will be disabled.

What does it mean for the current Norton Crypto customers?

As a result of the changes to the way Etherum can be mined, customers will no longer be able to mine ETH through Norton Crypto.

What happens to the ETH I have mined so far?

Any balance you have already earned is available in your Norton Crypto wallet. The accumulated balance in your Norton Crypto wallet will remain safe. You can withdraw the balance to your Coinbase account at any time.

More information on this will be posted on the Norton Community in the coming days. If you have any questions, please post them to the Norton Crypto forum page.
