Hello.
I accidentally installed a malware in to my PC. It was opening random websites when clicking anywhere on a page and closing within 1~2 seconds(history is not registering it).
I'm not able to open any Anti-malware programs and also website(including this) until I "end task" it. As soon as its closed I'm able to use this and any other anti-malware programs.

Scan with Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

Please download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and save it to your desktop.
  • Install the progam.
  • Click the Scan tab, choose Threat Scan is checked and click Start Scan.
  • If threats are detected, click the Quarantine Selected button. You will now be prompted to reboot. Click Yes.
  • Upon completion of the scan (or after the reboot), click the Reports tab.

  • At the bottom click Export and choose Text file.
Save the file to your desktop and include its content in your next reply.

Thank you for getting back to me.

This is the report of the Scan.
The CPU usage also seems to be normal and the nslookup.exe isn't showing up running in the Task Manager.
I assume that its resolved.

Please let me know if so.
Will be waiting on your reply.

It had the same issue with nslookup.exe high CPU usage. (50%) and it also was in the SysWOW64. Removed it and it solved the CPU issue but it went to nslookup.exe

So far I'm not having any issues with booting.

It seems your do not understand. svchost.exe is a legitimate file and should never be removed from computer because it can make your system unbootable.

I see. Is there anyway I can recover that file? If yes - Please do let me know, so that I could recover it. (if that includes not re-installing Windows)

FRST.gif
FRST search

Once again we shall use FRST for additional checks. Re-run FRST/FRST64 by double-clicking:
  • Copy svchost.exe into the Search: field in FRST then click the Search Files button.
  • FRST will search your computer for files and when finished it will produce a log Search.txt in the same directory the tool is run.
  • Please attach it to your reply.

This fix was created for this user for use on that particular machine.

Running it on another one may cause damage and render the system unstable.

Download attached fixlist.txt file and save it to the Desktop:

Both files, FRST and fixlist.txt have to be in the same location or the fix will not work!

  • Right-click on
    FRST.gif
    icon and select
    RunAsAdmin.jpg
Run as Administrator to start the tool.
(XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File).
  • Press the Fix button just once and wait.
  • If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
  • When finishes FRST will generate a log on the Desktop, called Fixlog.txt.

Please attach it to your reply.
