Nvidia introduced the GeForce RTX 30 series of graphics cards
at the start of September, starting things off with the high end of the spectrum- the RTX 3090, 3080, and 3070. If you've been waiting for something a bit more affordable, Nvidia today
introduced the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, the cheapest member of the RTX 30 family so far.
In terms of performance, the RTX 3060 Ti is faster than the RTX 2080 Super across the board, according to Nvidia. Comparing rasterization, rendering, and ray tracing performance, in a handful of games and programs, the newer card always comes out ahead, and the most notable improvements being in productivity tasks like Blender and V-Ray. It's also up to 80% faster than the RTX 2060 Super, according to the company's measurements.
