Someone still wants this ? i mean i loved it during the HDD times but... SSD kinda deal with themselfs now and all the snake oil ssd optimizatuons hurt those mostly.

There's people who swear defragging an SSD will improve performance. I tried it once, even knowing it shouldn't make a difference and as expected, saw no difference.

yes the thing is , nothing OS level can actually fat finger around the internal mechanisms now, when SSD are idle they do internally wear leveling and shift data around to preserve lifespans of the entire SSD ( thats why its important to leave 20-30% free ) what the SSD reports as Mapfile table to the OS is pretty much a "Lie".

The only thing that works is the Trim command OS level because it kinda tells the SSD "Do it now"
