OBS Multiplatform | Changelog | Download*

OBS MultiPlatform is a complete rewrite of the original OBS from the ground up, with the main goals of course being multiplatform support, a more thorough feature set, and a much more powerful API. A very early and simple release is currently available for Mac.

OBS MultiPlatform will eventually support many of the advanced requested features not present in the original OBS, such as multiple stream outputs and scene previewing. It does not have these features in this release.

*An early release is currently available for Mac OS X. Stay tuned: https://github.com/jp9000/obs-studio for more releases.

Development / Test Builds for OBS Multiplatform for Windows
https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/latest-windows-test-build-0-7-3.23342/
Pre-requisites: VS2013 redistributable (see link above)

Support: https://obsproject.com/forum/list/windows-support.32/

Important Info:

The Windows build of OBS Multiplatform is still in a very early stage, so rather than make a "major" release, test releases will be made. You can find the latest release here.

Note: Please keep in mind:
  • It has a few new features, and many of the original features have been improved, but we're mostly spending our time putting back in all the original features before working on all the new features. It does not have all the original features back in yet, and yes, we will put them all in (and more).
  • The UI especially is subject to change, possibly major change.
  • These builds are not guaranteed to be stable.

This is the program I use to stream and to record. It is infinitely better than the free version of xsplit because it doesn't grey out broadcast settings. The only problem I have with the current stable version is that it doesn't have an fps counter. How else am I going to know if it is recording in fullscreen mode?

Thanks for the update, Huracan.
