Hello, Opera enthusiasts!

Opera’s newest update, version: 120.0.5510.0, introduces two exciting features: Split Screen in Tab Island and Clear History on Exit.

Split Screen in Tab Island

This feature allows you to integrate split-screen views into Tab Islands, making it easier to multitask. You can now view multiple web pages side by side within an island, allowing for a streamlined workflow and easy tab interaction.

Clear History on Exit

Prioritizing user privacy, this feature lets you automatically clear selected history items upon exiting the browser. Choose which data to erase for a hassle-free cleanup that maintains your privacy effortlessly.

In addition to introducing new features, the latest Opera update also fixes important issues:

  • Cookie Settings Fix: Thanks to our diligent user community, we’ve resolved the problem that prevented changes to default cookie settings, giving you better control over your privacy preferences.
  • Crash Fixes: Multiple crash issues have been addressed, including those related to bookmarks, sign-in processes, and session restoration.
  • Other Fixes: Various issues such as icon display errors, extension placement, and problems with text visibility in private windows have been tackled to refine the overall user experience.

We sincerely appreciate your feedback and keen eye for detail, as it helps us refine and enhance the Opera experience for everyone.
