Hey there, Opera fans! We’ve just rolled out an exciting update to our flagship Opera browser on Android, and we can’t wait for you to try it.
The big news? Aria, our built-in free browser AI, now comes with Image Understanding, a feature that lets you explore the world around you by simply uploading or snapping a photo. Whether you’re out for a walk and spot an unfamiliar tree or stumble upon a historic monument, Aria is here to help. Just take a photo, and Aria will provide context and details to satisfy your curiosity. And the best part? You no longer need to log in to use Aria – it’s ready to assist right away.
Discover More with Image Understanding
Aria also features Image Generation, powered by Google’s Imagen 3 Fast model, allowing you to generate creative images based on a prompt or sketch. You can create up to five images for free – no login required. And for those times when you need quick help with other tasks, Aria offers Voice Search, Web Page Summaries, and Ask Aria, where you can highlight text and let Aria explain it for you.
A Smoother Browsing Experience
We’ve also added features that make sharing content and switching browsers easier than ever. The QR Code Sharing allows you to generate a QR code for any webpage, so your friends can access it in seconds by simply scanning.
We’ve also made it simpler to switch to Opera. Now, you can import passwords from Chrome. In addition to the bookmark import feature, this means you can switch browsers with minimal disruption. Once you’re in Opera, you can store passwords securely and autofill them in other Android apps.
For those who love customizing their browser, we’ve introduced new themes inspired by Opera One. With fresh wallpapers and color schemes, you can now personalize your mobile browser to match the sleek design of the Opera desktop experience.
