The Osprey extension is excellent, I tested it again yesterday and it blocked everything up to URL redirects, and also .js files within the site, as it was an obscure website it was to be expected. It was kind of funny at first because I couldn't browse that page due to the constant blocks and ended up closing the page. I'm using NextDNS DNS and it will be difficult if not impossible to fall for a phishing scam because all top-level domains (TLDs) and newly registered domains (NRDs) less than 30 days old are blocked by default. By the way, the most important thing I wanted to tell MT members right now is about malware and Trojans for Linux. If you use Linux, pay close attention to what I'm about to say. Don't worry, I have Linux too. Yesterday on the website that provides samples, with a huge list of hundreds of recent malware and Trojans, they were all aimed at Linux. I had to go back 3 pages to find malware for windows, because the first three pages were malware URLs if mainly trojans targeting Linux. I've never seen so much malware for linux as I did yesterday. Be vigilant when using your linux, only install your apps from the store and only install what is necessary for what you use and keep your distro up to date, although malware and trojans target Linux servers, you never know, you could end up being infected. Since most Linux users don't use AV on this platform, you can't be too careful. That's what I had to. (y) Be safe, but not paranoid, as our friend says @oldschool ;)
Unix like systems especially Linux by far is getting targeted more but the main threat today is pishing , social engineering as that way threat actors get access to systems and osprey is the best protection you have after training against such threats but if you had truly zero day pishing sites then some won't be blocked by anything including osprey

Hi @Foulest
I like the add-in and due to excellent insightful comments on this forum and my own testing I feel its a worthwhile as that extra armour for my PC :)
Would it be possible to include an option to set the defaults, as I know some are disabled when i first installed the add-in

I use Ublock Origin Lite alongside Osprey Browser Protection. Which filters should I enable in UBL to maximize protection while avoiding filter duplication?

How did you perform that action, which ai?
Sorry for the long time reply. I really don't feel like writing anything anywhere these days, I'm going through Oblivion Remastered. I upload all the files to Google AI Studio for testing, it's as convenient and easy to do there as possible.

Who doesn't want to use many protection options, could follow the choice from the well-known Kees1958:
"I have enabled only Symantec, Bitdefender and Norton."
Source: https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?p=2615566#p2615566
There are many critics on this Linux Mint forum about Osprey, this is nothing new, every forum has this kind of discussion and criticism. What I don't understand is why people still live in a bubble in a world full of illusions believing that Linux is still immune to malware. They don't know what they are talking about, I saw the other day with my own eyes the amount of Malware samples, the first three pages only Malware and Trojans specifically for linux. It's 2025, wake up, and most malware comes via the browser, email, phishing, social engineering and so on. Even if I had super advanced knowledge I wouldn't say that, tomorrow things could change. Check out ClickFix Hackers now test ClickFix attacks against Linux targets :)

Is that a bug from vivaldi or from osprey ?? when i disabled osprey it was back to normal, so i would think something in osprey blocked the text/ reactions on youtube.. . . .

Considering that the API for context menus is the same on all Chromium browsers and that Vivaldi uses Chrome's API, it should work normally. Vivaldi doesn't display checkboxes correctly. The code for context menus doesn't change in Chromium browsers and uses Chrome's normal way of doing it.
