OSX Adware virus keeps being detected-

I have a OS X virus that keeps showing up even with protection on- "Users/myname/library/application... Adware/OSX.ma..." is all it shows- when I click on "reveal in Finder" it goes to a folder that has "Finder" icon
<My security software says its quarantined but i know it is affecting performance?
