I don't have Outlook/Office 365 and only using the online service, so sadly can't help, but I'm 100% sure other's can and will as soon they see your post.

The Search Ribbon may be missing after a Windows or Office update. This is a known issue that, unfortunately, is more common after updates for Outlook 2019 and Office 365.
So if I don't do the steps mentioned in the article, it will be back eventually in the next Windows update or Office update?

The search box that has always been above the messages in my inbox has disappeared. All I have visible is Focused, Other, and then the filter drop down. When I go to the search tab it has all the
@The Cog in the Machine With Version 2012: January 05 Version 2012 (Build 13530.20316), the search bar is back for me.
Is this the same for you?
