Well, I hope I'm not barging in uninvited. I did want to show an example of Privacy Badger in action b/c sometimes, people (understandably) wonder whether this does anything or just sits there.

Apparently, this is some sort of "tracking widget." Here's an explanation from EFF.

I plan on keeping it along with uBlock Origin for now--currently this combination is effective for my modest browsing and does not affect the browser mechanics at all. But, I'm fickle with extensions. Using Opera Stable in Sandboxie.

To realize the actual work of PB, you should try it without using other AdBlockers.
You would be surprised to see what PB filters out.

I agree completely. It definitely has advantages with its "AI-like" learning behavior. It's one weakness may be it's lacking fingerprinting and etag protection. But it's still a good choice. (y)

The 3D of the forums are made to exchange mutual opinions and experiences. You shouldn't think you're uninvited.

Yeah, if we can't express opinions then I'm outta here fast. If someone doesn't want to hear them they shouldn't post it, or do it via PM.

Well, this is good because about 3 years ago, I used it and it seemed uBlock Origin was dominating it completely. I tried it out because I was a donor of EFF at the time. So, it's really good to know it's a bit more robust and it's nice to see it working independently of uBO.

Picking up some good info about extensions but trying to keep it minimal.
