As Amazon’s next-gen Alexa+ is set to launch in beta in the US later this month, Panos Panay, the company’s new devices and services chief discussed Amazon’s new consumer product strategy with Bloomberg. And it looks like the former Chief Product Officer at Microsoft wants to change the “cheap” reputation of Amazon’s products.

In the interview, Panay teased new quality tiers for Alexa gadgets, with new “entry, core or signature” tiers. All products across these tiers should also get the same level of care and attention, the exec added, with “edge-processing” upgrades also making it possible to run more AI features directly on the devices.

“I want perfection in every single product that we ship — period,” Panay told Bloomberg. “There won’t be a corner cut. It won’t matter if we tried it before. It won’t matter what you thought it used to be.”

Some products only available at Amazon. Plus, cheapest price available anywhere and free delivery. Even more cheap than ASDA (owned by Walmart).

I do not care about Bezos' politics or ideology. I only care about my pocket money. As far as my personal data, it is already cast across the globe and Dark Web. So there is no privacy or security benefit of avoiding Amazon. Will never boycott any seller if they offer the lowest cost for political or activist reasons.

I have a life-long habit of boycotting social media, but I suppose that does not count because none of the cucks could ever convince me to purchase a single one of their "value-added" services. I suppose that doesn't count as activism.

True, but can you or anyone beat free international shipping/non international shipping for $39/$49/$59 order depending on location? No one can.

You dance with the devil basically. That's the problem with monopolies and cartels, they have us by the balls.
