Hi, Patch is available for testing now.

Please note that to install the patch in KSeC (KSDE), you need to update the product from the test server using the commands below.

Check the presence of a patch in the standard windows "Support", "About the program."

Fixed problems:
  • In some cases, it is impossible to refuse to register at My Kaspersky

To begin testing you need to do next:

1. Install product
2. Update from public servers and reboot OS
3. Enable traces
4. Set Manual mode of Update
5. Set Update source: Index of /ap2/
6. Reboot OS

As usual I'd like to remind you:

1) If you found any problem, please, re-check it on the previous patch. Here we are looking only for bugs related to current patch.
2) Don't forget about traces and screenshots.

Patch K
Patch K for Kaspersky Security Cloud version 20.0.14.1085 was released on May 18, 2020.

In patch K:
  • We have added full support of Windows 10 version 2004.
  • Several application issues were fixed.

You mean you followed those steps to get patch K?
Yes, I did that.
It's recommended to wait a bit between step 5 and 6.
I followed those steps to get patch J and restarted too quickly and it didn't work.
You have to do those steps only once to get new patches as soon as they are released.
But the best advice is just to wait, you will get the latest patch eventually.
That's safer because every patch can have an unexpected bug.
There are so many different computer configurations out there.
That's reason that Kaspersky doesn't upgrade everybody at once.

Is anyone else experiencing higher CPU usage after patch K?

Just updated Destiny 2 via steam and Kaspersky was up there with 'High' CPU usage.

I've noticed lately that CPU usage seems to be randomly spiking and i'm wondering if it's down to Patch K. Nothing else in my system has changed?

I'm using Kaspersky Security Cloud Free on Windows10 (2004), but I haven't noticed higher CPU usage, here it's the same like before patch K (y)
