I’ve been using SolarWinds at work, and it’s a bit of a mixed bag. On the plus side, it’s got a solid set of monitoring tools - great for tracking network performance, server health, and overall infrastructure. The UI is decent once you get used to it, and the alerting system is pretty configurable. The amount of data it can pull in is impressive, and if you’re managing a large environment, it does a good job of giving you visibility into what’s happening.
That said, it’s not without its downsides. Licensing can get expensive fast, especially if you need multiple modules. Some parts of the interface feel a bit dated, and performance can be sluggish depending on how much you’re monitoring.
