Ah, thanks for the clarification. I will see if I could implement WOT and a cached link. The only problem with using WOT is that it contains bias in its reviews and websites can suffer from this. If I were to implement WOT into the search engine, it may be disabled by default.
- Yes, I'm entirely with you, about WOT.
WOT it's not very accurate, and has political bias too .. bur it's better than nothing, for average user.
Yes disable it by default, like DuckDuckGo, if you wish.
To have
DuckDuckGo with WOT implemented, I use this link :
https://duckduckgo.com/?kf=fw&kh=1&k1=-1&kl=us-en&kad=en_US
WOT is implemented too on
Privatele Search (and Qrobe.it, and Ahdle.com) :
https://privatelee.com
- I use too another Search engine,
AVG Secure Search, which has 'Secure Search' feature :
http://isearch.avg.com/tab?cid=&cklang=en
at the letf of its page, it show rating for: All sites, or Risky / Dangerous, or None - to notch by user.
Read about this 'AVG Secure Search' security feature:

* Some other search engines are proxified (first click only! ha)..
- like
Gibiru :
http://gibiru.com/
- and
Lukol :
http://www.lukol.com/
* Another big security solution we have with the possibility of search by
'proxy' link (it's the best solution, I think) - look on private secure search engine
Ixquick (and its clones) :
https://www.ixquick.com/eng/ - like
Startpage.com :
