Pop-ups & web pages open constantly

Does it happen in all browsers? I do not see infection on your PC.

Well...I just opened Microsoft edge and have been clicking & opening a bunch of tabs, pages and no pop ups so far. Hmm; I don't see anything in Firefox (my main browser) that may be making these pop ups show.

I will continue from now on with Edge and see if popups show up or not.

- Uninstall Firefox (Programs and Features)

Then

Click Start, copy in search %appdata%\ Then delete folder Mozilla
Click Start, copy in search %LOCALAPPDATA%\ delete folder Mozilla

Then delete following folders:

C:\Program Files (x86)\mozilla firefox
C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Maintenance Service


Restart your PC.
Then install Firefox again.

Choose the independent browser

I think yes.

But you can export your bookmarks.

Sorry for hijacking your thread but I've got exactly the same problem than Matracas and interestingly from the same city. Maybe even from the same service provider ¿cablevision? Same malware on both laptops and even on my android. Were you able to solve this?

I have exactly the same problem, I have the same popups showed by Matracas, same *.ru and Holahola sites... And, as Wara mentioned, my internet provider is "cablevision", same kind of problems with mi Android device too. Perhaps this is not a coincidence... I'm even reinstalled from cero my PC, this is truly annoying.

I got the exact same problem, same city, I have Axtel as my internet service provider, thoe.
