Student room internet. Not that much imo. Only 30 mbit up and down and quite unstable.
When I'm at home, I have much faster internet with 200 mbit down and 20 up.

I have the "speedpack" with optus which is supposed to give you better download speeds!
I am satisfied with the service however recently have been having lag issues,and dropouts as they are supposedly upgrading their service.
Bearing in mind that I'm lucky to be close to the "node",which gives me better speeds.
However,when I'm on the net in the evening (my time),speed does drop as it is "peak".
Furthermore this test was done with the ethernet cable via my laptop!
If I was ti test wifi,the speed wouldbe drastically slower as optus does not primarily support it as a primary means of connecting!
