Notes by Staff Team
  1. This setup configuration does not have a backup plan. We strongly recommend to add a backup solution for your data so that you can restore it in the case of an emergency.
    Backing up allows the recovery of data that has been lost due of a malware attack (eg. ransomware) or a hard disk crash. In such events you might lose family photos, your music collection, documents, or financial data. Backups are fast and simple to perform so it should be done on a regular basis.

@quachtinh2202:
  • I guess that with No in Real-time Web & Malware Protection, You mean You are using Windows Defender? in that case You may harden the system with some 3rd party tools such as Hard Configuratior (@Andy Ful) or NVT SysHaradener (@NoVirusThanks).
  • As for "Virus and Malware Removal Tools", You may add: ZAM Free, HitMan.Pro Free and MalWareBytes 4 Windows Free.
  • As for "Disk Imaging Backup", You may add Macrium Reflect Free or AOEMI Backupper, both are free and reliably.
  • Consider also to run manual backups of important data to external devices and not only in cloud, please specify where or which cloud service are You using to sync Your data.
  • As for "Web Privacy", You may add a VPN service.
  • A PassWord Manager would be welcome also.
Please kindly reflect Your changes editing Your config, and announcing them here, thanks for sharing Your config :giggle:

You're setup is a fairly dangerous config to use. You only have 1 out of 4 layers covered. The only one covered is Windows Firewall.

Please consider the following below so you have a secure config:

1st layer: real time protection or 3rd party tools: use an AV of your choice, or use OSArmor with Syshardener. With Syshardener you can also use the setting to have some basic Firewall settings which will further harden your protection and OS.

2nd layer: Web browser protection, this can be protected using an Adblocker like uBlock or Nano Adblocker alongside ScriptSafe for script blocking protection

3rd and final layer: backup, I would recommend Macrium Reflect as your backup solution because its essential, so you don't lose files from deletion or a ransonware attack
