Assigned Random unremovable "secure search" yahoo under search engines

I have been having this problem for a year or two now, every one and a while my searches are redirected to a yahoo tab thats extremely annoying. So far I have restored my settings to default and used three different maleware apps to scan and potentially fix the problem. a year or so ago on my search engine screen i had the option to remove the yahoo option and make chrome default again but i've found that the remove button is gone now and yahoo pops up whenever it wants while im searching (
