Keeping Windows and your browser up to date, avoiding pirated software, being careful with suspicious files, using two-factor authentication, and having reliable backups will probably have a greater impact on everyday security than switching between two antivirus products that already provide a good level of protection.
After that, choosing an antivirus is more about protection, performance, false positives, privacy, and each user's needs. YouTube rankings can be a good starting point, but I think they are best complemented with independent testing.
