My computer is barely a week old and unfortunately my wife tried to download a program tonight that blew up into like 30 programs. I tried to uninstall all of them but two in particular were difficult: chromebrowser and Finding Discount. I have since uninstalled them, but I am constantly being redirected to ads whenever I click on any link. It typically takes about 3 clicks before it sends me to the correct site. I also get video pop up ads randomly too. So frustrated. I have tried just about every recommended program to get rid of them but to no avail. I have downloaded and run ADW cleaner, Emisoft Emergency Kit Scanner, hit man pro, Kaspersky TDSSKiller, Malware Bytes Anti-malware, reset my browser settings, uninstalled all unwanted programs, and deleted Google Chrome and re downloaded it again. Any suggestions?

Running it on another one may cause damage and render the system unstable.

Download attached fixlist.txt file and save it to the Desktop:

Both files, FRST and fixlist.txt have to be in the same location or the fix will not work!

  • Right-click on
    FRST.gif
    icon and select
    RunAsAdmin.jpg
Run as Administrator to start the tool.
(XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File).
  • Press the Fix button just once and wait.
  • If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
  • When finished FRST will generate a log on the Desktop, called Fixlog.txt.

Please attach it to your reply.
