Linux being "more secure" than Windows is a myth.

A few months ago I received an email from Kaspersky about their new protection for Linux.

It seems soon we will see more offering protection for Linux.
Entirely agree; the reason is their small market share, making them a less attractive target than Windows.
Wait until Linux users increase to 10%; its malware and security products will start to shine.

For now those offering security products for Linux market their products offering protecrion against spreading Windows malware to other devices.

I believe Android is based on Linux and there is a relative increase in Android malware. I believe we are going to witness an increase in Linux malware soon.
