I am having the same problem with Reimageplus pop-ups. I have run the recommended programs and Spybot. The only thing I have not done is restore Chrome to default settings. Nothing has worked so far. I see the issue is marked as solved - I would appreciate some help nevertheless. It is driving me mad. My machine runs Windows 10. Should I try the Farbar fix and/or reinstall Chrome?

Sorry, I am new to this. Are telling me that the thread is no longer open for further replies? I attach the two Farbar files in case you can help.

Yes, every user has to post a new topic. One topic = one user.

Running it on another one may cause damage and render the system unstable.

Download attached fixlist.txt file and save it to the Desktop:

Both files, FRST and fixlist.txt have to be in the same location or the fix will not work!

  • Right-click on
    FRST.gif
    icon and select
    RunAsAdmin.jpg
Run as Administrator to start the tool.
(XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File).
  • Press the Fix button just once and wait.
  • If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
  • When finishes FRST will generate a log on the Desktop, called Fixlog.txt.

Please attach it to your reply.

It was working fine for a day until just now when the re-image pop up reappeared. In the meantime I have been using FireFox instead of Chrome as a solution.

I have installed uBlock Origin. Still the problem remains. For example, just now I was working on Google Docs when without provocation Chrome opened a reimage page and about 8 blank pages. I opened up this site to write to you and in the process Chrome opened this window
